does any 1 know what is the point of clans?

Clans in video games is something social which can be very fun. There are all kind of different people with different interests. You can for exemple join a swbf2 clan. Not only can you talk/meet people with the same hobbies, it's a place where friends are or it sometimes is like a big family. An important point of a clan is playing in group and so you will not be alone.

You should join the clan of the cave bear. They love the fire.

In Battlefront II clans are completely pointless now, since there's not really that much competition going on. Basically, it's just a way of thanking someone for giving you free server space to play on.
