I really hope there's a third person view option. It's one of my favorite reasons for playing BF2.

IGN confirmed earlier. But.... EA...If they mess this up, I think we'll all ransack their HQ. The Frostbite engine is a good one, I might need to upgrade soon though. Only downside I see about SWBF right now is the fact that it'll be on EA's crappy Origin.

I'd rather have some form of a BF then none at all.
Kind in mind, BF has always been full of bugs and glitches.
I believe this would also allow mods to happen as well?

In any case, EA has ruined a lot of games, SWBFII isn't exactly the "best made" game either.

Great point, it's the only mode I play as well, 1st person makes me nauseous.

Anyone know the monthly for running a battlefield server? Gotta assume it'll be the same as that.

Well it's a great announcement, I'm sure the developers will bring-out an good game. We've all been waiting for SWBF3 for so long now, it will bring in a new era of players and keep the game alive for many years.

I'm looking forward to seeing more information by DICE/EA etc.

DICE thinks us modders are too stupid to mod their precious Frostbite, so they don't bother with mod tools. So no mods for this SWBF.

They've been proved wrong with the previous version of Frostbite. People will figure it out, don't worry XD.
