Is this legal or not? Simple question. I have witnessed several admins condoning it.

Slow Run is a way of slowing down while your sprinting, and gives back your stamina while you are running.



And as said, it is not legal on our servers, and several other servers, as I beilive it is considered glitching.

we may need a better definition for slow run.

slow running was considered a player on the ground who is using button combos to slow down his run speed.
the problem it causes is that this makes him immune to stunning by choke, and in some ways resistant to null/saber attacks
this is not allowed and I havent witnessed any of our admins doing it.


well I remember once in a GWL match Dread accused me for slow running because I curve left or right too fast...
he was pretending that fast curving makes me 'slide-run' that should have similar effect as slow run I explained above.
it's funny how in fact he and his friend Leggz are 'sliding' all of the time...

There is mid-air slow running with Vader which is very hard to catch if it's a decent Vader, but that is not allowed either.
Most of the people here have probably never competed on Global Warfighter - but these "techniques" are illegal in matches there as well, and I think there's a good foundation for why they are not allowed.
