SWBF2 Version swapper.

I've been looking into a way of swapping which version of the game my PC runs. I found several ways of doing this, but all the ones I found would only work if I had a 1.0 disk. But since I'm a newb on the scene, my disk is a 1.1 DVD. Does anyone know of a version switcher which works with a V1.1 DVD?

Did you try Zbad's version picker? http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... cker;76951

Important note - you MUST HAVE Microsoft .net framework installed to use this - you can get it by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and choosing "custom" - .net will be under the optional updates.

I know this works for those who have updated to v1.1, but I'm not sure if it will work for people with a v1.1 CD/DVD. Worth a shot though.

That was the first one I tried Matt, since you recommended it in-game. Whenever I try to run it, a message comes up saying this:

You need to download and install the Battlefront 2 Version 1.1 Patch before you can use the version picker. When you click OK your browser will open a site where you can download the patch. However, if that site is no longer valid, you should search on Google for "Battlefront 2 1.1 patch download" and that should lead you to it pretty quickly.

Thing is, I already have the 1.1 patch installed. The readme says this is only compatible with the domestic version of the 1.1 patch, but I'd assume that's the one I already have. I even tried downloading and installing the domestic version, but it said I already had this version of the game.

Finally found a working one. There was a force on server, and I was impressed at how the players regulated their force usage-nothing like the spam I normally see.

I wonder if there is version swapper compatible with Steam version of the game...
Some 1.0 may be a fresh air after all...
