SWGO +123 Mod server now online

SWGO has added a new 24 slot server to run the +123 mod maps.

If you don't have the mod maps, you can download them straight from SWGO here: http://www.swgohome.com/phpBB3/GWL_123_v2.2.zip

To install the mod maps, just create a folder called Addon and copy everything from the zip file into it.

C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Star wars Battlefront II/GameData/Addon

Steam Path: C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Star wars Battlefront II/GameData/Addon

*If you have other mods already installed in the addon folder, it may cause a conflict with +123
*Adjust path for Windows Vista/7.
*If you do not have an Addon folder create one in the GameData folder.

I hope so.

Peaple need to start a server.

Most peaple who dont read the SWGO server know of this new server....

Any ideas on how to let them know?
Auto-admin perhaps?

The last time we tried +123, we had auto-admin messages on all the other servers. Did it help?... not sure.

hmmm.

I quit playing there but?

Gmrz did publicity for all their new servers whith the auto-admin.
This way i found out about the rest of there servers.

The problem is few players play there anyhow.

But if 30 players in a server like the SWGO servers see a message about a new mod server they will know....

I played this just and it's great. Just a shame there was only 3 of us. Can we please get a timer though as when there is only 2 or 3 players it gets a bit long winded.

Modding is required to reduce the timer. An alternative would be to reduce the maximum scores needed to win.

Yes, hence the reason for moving the map forward plus we need to remove the more laggi maps from the rotation.

I'd post the announcement about the new server in BIG BOLD LETTERS on the Player/Stats Webpage(s) for HA and 'maybe' JBA.

Also a poll should be started on wich maps to add and delete from the rotacion.

Example: Rhen var HARBOR is actually a big map made to suport 2 AT-ATs.
Ussing this map for HA is dumb as the map is way too big for this.
