Teamspeak is unpopular what about Xfire?

We all know the SWGO teamspeak is very unpopular.
When in-game i advertise teamspeak everyone sayes its too difficult(and it is)

So i was thinking of something that i did once before.
I about 70% of all players (who regulary play JBA) have Xfire.

So why not create 2 chat rooms for the good and evil faction.
I noticed you can Call the chat-room and everyone can hear u and viseversa.

So now rises my question.

Whouldnt it be a good idea to make 2 chat rooms instead of the unnused teamspeak?

Because TS is more practical and works better.

Too difficult to use? You press a button and talk how difficult can that be? I'm starting to understand why most of you still play this 6 year old game. You're all afraid of new technology/games. It's painfully obvious that these new games are far too technological for most of you to understand. Damn it's a good thing SWBF3 will never come out because you all wouldn't be able to understand it. :whistling:

I DO USE IT.

but the problem is other players say Xfire is easyer and it actually is.
You just have to invite and thats it.

Remember the 123+ server? player have to download and their too lazy.
So why whould they bother downloading Teamspeak having to find the IP and then the BPM just to talk?

i use it but noone else seems to like it.

This is the reason why i brought up the Xfire thing.

Ok I'll bite. Xfire is fine but it's annoying when you're in the middle of a game and the xfire screen pops up with some message. Then you got to stop what you're doing and TYPE the conversation whereas, if you're using TS all you have to do is TALK. You can even setup TS where you don't even have to press a button and believe me it's not very hard. To me it seems most like a case of laziness then anything else and I bet most of those afraid to use it probably haven't hit puberty yet and are afraid that they will sound squirrels with rubber bands tied around their nads.

I'd use TS more, but whenever I've logged on...no one was there. I'll try both.

Well i have a solution for you. Stop playing swbf2, start playing BC2, come over to WGO join our TS and you'll talk to people(mostly grownups all the time) :whistling:

I actually prefer Teamspeak for in-game use, but it, for whatever reason, bogs my internet down. I have two computers and a tv that are internet connected and if 2-3 of them are connected at once, TS goes off due to the lag. I've frankly just gotten comfortable with plain-old playing again and not being distracted with all the extra whizbang gadgetry. I hate Xfire, and only run it if I need to chat with someone fast.
