Xfire a small help

Postby (SWGO)Minas_Thirith » Tue Mar 08, 2011 6:32 pm

Ive noticed how many players have to go outside the game to talk trough Xfire.

Now you can also talk on chat whith Xfire whithout leaving the game.

Its simple.
Log into Xfire go to Tools>--Options>--Xfire-in-game

Here you will find about 8 things whith hotkeys incluiding video and screenshots.
now If you change the Xfire-in-game keys to for example(what i have) F+G when u press this combinacion you will be able to talk to the friends you have on Xfire.

Easy isnt it?

yes i know.

yet i keep hearing complaints about players having to leave the game to answer on Xfire.

So making this is quite easy to help those who dont know(after players asking how to make Screenshots im not surprised some dont know how to do this)

Those who don't know about these mundane matters are either too lazy or incapable to search the functions of Xfire in their menu.

I didn't know how to take in-game screens or use in-game chat after using Xfire for a week. When the situation came for me to use these functions I didn't complain about it, I checked the Xfire menu to learn how to use them. Then after spending 5 minutes going over the options I figured it out and continued with what I was doing before. It's that simple!

As good hearted as your intentions are; if the players are not able to do these easy tasks on their own then don't bother with them. If they have the time to check the forum and read your post, they could have just gone to Xfire and find out themselves with the same amount of time.

Cheers
