why does it attract so many eight year olds like minas tirith, drai, masterdutch, etc.
Is it like, parents get this game for their kids to play because it's cheaper than a baby sitter or something so they can do whatever the [m'kay] they want to do while their kid spends his time playing swbf2?

If you want to know why children play that game....well i can only guess that whith the new star wars series children want to play the game of that serie.
The closest game is SWBF2 whitch is very cheap on steam.

thats why youger players have started playing this game.

Sorry I didn't have time to go do a comprehensive review of the player base, should I add a notice at the top of my post saying my study sample might be small or my methodology is flawed? Even if it is, I think my conclusion is pretty damn strong

Just to be a total [derriere orifice] and grammar nazi, it's "You're" not "Your".

Finally, I was not saying I "thought" that you were an eight year old, I was saying that the conclusion from you and a few others on this forum being 8 year olds could not be extrapolating from to prove that the entire population of SWBF2 were 8 year olds.

In other words, I know YOU posses the capacity for maturity equivalent to an 8 year old, but I only THINK that a few other SWBF2 players are eight year olds or at least extremely immature.
