Well K.T, they are over 200 different species of owls. So, are you talking about the mighty Barn Owl, or possibly the Northern Hawk Owl, or maybe my favorite the Elf Owl. Also, did you know that several owls species have "ear" tufts on their heads but they aren't ears at all! These tufts of feathers may indicate the bird's mood, help keep it camouflaged or be used to show aggression. :afro:
