One of the "ban appeal" FAQ

Question: My Brother/Uncle/Father/Sister/Friend/Dog/Other personality was playing on my computer when i got caught for cheating, its his/her fault, so why am I being banned?

Answer: We at PBBans will ban any GUID that has been caught for cheating, no er who was using it, we will not remove a ban because it was not me. You are responsible for the security of your GUID.

Punkbuster <> PBBans

Yeah.... Pbbans does great work. The thing is though.... they don't allow bans in their system for anything except irrefutable evidence of hacking/cheating. You can't get banned by them for being a smacktard, breaking some servers rules, or even using racial and abusive language. I think even wall glitching (getting inside walls you aren't supposed to be in) wouldn't get you banned if I remember right (not sure though).

Oh and toad... what is that, VBA? I was thinking it was punkbuster != pbbans instead of <>.

True fly but the diffrence is if their banned by punkbuster their banned from all servers that run punkbuster, i do believe an admin can ban players from their own server, punkbuster just deals with cheaters wich is something an admin may not know how to deal with, example knowing for sure the player is in fact cheating

It works in VBA but goes all the way back to Basic. Frankly it is more descriptive than != IMHO

I knew of a few but nothing was publicly published because not enough people cared about the game. Mainly it is people glitching which usually results in a quick ban.

The title says punkbuster, punkbuster doesn't deal with SWBF2, it's mainly battlefield based games, Crysis, COD, BC2, BF3 etc... since those games can easely be altered and modded, i just have to edit my crysis file wich is epicly easy and i can go online in godmode....not that i will live long before i'm banned but that's what you have punkbuster for...altough there are alwayes a few things that slip away...

As for SWBF2 there aren't any hacks, their ancient engine doesn't compute with hacks, only glitches due too the poor engeneering of pandemics, no wonder their bankrupt.

Well, I've heard about lagging in swbf2 (purposefully).

I'm interested in that, since this maul I played the other day had insane recovery times and the ability to back slash mid-dash or back slash several times in a second.
