Mouse unresponsive in JBA

Hola guys. Just want some help on an issue I've been having while in JBA. It seems that after a few games, my mouse becomes unresponsive. If I'm running/walking in game, and while aiming, my mouse doesn't respond. I can't aim at a target...the reticle refuses to move according to my mouse movement. If I'm running...and I want to change directions, my character will keep going in a straight line. I have a wireless mouse and I change batteries thinking that my battery must be low, but that didn't seem to do anything. Wondering if its a lag issue even though I never seen that before in 5 years of playing this game....lagging or not. I changed setttings, sensitivity and nothing works. Any other suggestions? Oh, and by the way..it's an intermitten problem...it comes and goes while in game.

What's your mouse sending its signal to? There 'might' be a button on the bottom of the mouse that needs to be reset...maybe even corrupted software for the mouse. May need to reload it.

Same problem, different situation (see below)

It's a logictech mouse. There is no reset button on it and it did not come with a software disc. The "read & play" function on Windows automaticly set the drivers needed for use. Thanks 40, if you can think of anything else I will appreciate it.

You can download the software here: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads
The software Logitech uses is called setpoint I think. You should also check the support pages to see if there's a known issue with your mouse.

If you can, try using a different mouse and see if the same issue happens.

You might get lucky changing the port you have the mouse plugged into.
My bet is on a new mouse though.

This is a new mouse...a couple of months old. I also did change ports today. I haven't had any issues yet but I only played one map since the change. It seems to mess up after a few maps. Thanks for the help though guys, I will try the Logictech site if the problem persists...and if that doesn't work..back to the trackball mouse dinosaur I have.

The sensor on the bottom of the mouse might just be fouled up because of the rapid movement in swbf2 online. :whistling:

Maybe keep the chip-dip away from your mouse. :gun_bandana:
