SWBF1 cd-key not authorized

hey guys,
I bought a new battlefront game pack and i just installed swbf1. I go to multiplayer, try to join a server, and it says "CD-Not authorized to play this game."
I went to Yoda's Help Desk on lucasarts.com, and it said to just retype the code in. I did that, no change. Any suggestions?
EDIT 1: I put this topic in the SWBF2 section because its battlefront.

Where did you buy the pack from? Whatever cd key you're using is banned.....

Is the CD not authorized on ALL servers? Or is it on just one server?

Go back to Target, tell them why you can't use the game. Ask for a different copy...try that for now.

If you're unable to use it due to cd key, just exchange it. Target may not return software though.....
