Is Team Damage in HA Necessary?

This may have been discussed before but I couldn't find anything.
With all the problem arising from team kills and team push, why not just turn team damage off in the HA and no force servers? Why is it activated.
If it has been discussed sorry for the double topic.

Yes it is necessary. Otherwise, people could hit and hit you forever. Think of the harassment!

I tought some clan idk i think it was grrrrrrrr's clan that had a server like that, ussualy i was in the corner being beaten on 24/7 by a ally grevious

I once pondered the same question, but yes, I agree with the previous posters. Perpetually getting hit and TPed, saeculor saeculorum, would make anyone leave the server.
