Hello SWGO,

As some of you may know, I am the leader of a new competitive SWBF2 clan called EpicGaming. http://www.epicgamingswbf2.webs.com.

I was told to post a proposal on the forums..

I want to know whether SWGO is interested in sponsoring a clan, can giving them a server to use for their clan. For SWGO, you get your server messages advertising SWGO such as;"www.SWGOhome.com" "Join the SWGO community at http://www.SWGOhome.com" "Donate to keep this and other SWGO associated servers going at http://www.SWGOhome.com!

** EDIT Thought I should mention the type of server I want is a 16/14/12 Slot TK on server.

Give me one of your servers to use with my clan and I will be so gracious as to let you choose your own announcements.
...remind me again how this benefits SWGO? If I'm not mistaken jba is still the most popular server in the swbf universe, so its not like we would be rescued from obscurity...

I never said JBA isn't the most popular server, because it is. I play on it. (Then again, Im not really saying you said I did.)

This was just a request, it's there in front of you. Your choice to decide.

Can't see any reason to do it. We are discovered easily enough in the Multiplayer Server list, and the sheer numbers on the server list playing SWGO, advertise SWGO just fine. However, you play on our servers. Have you ever 'donated' to them (i.e. Sponsored)? Probably not.

I don't mean to be a dick- I just, personally, fail to see how this would benefit the community.

You should ask GMRZ or Merc. They both own their own server boxes instead of renting them like we do. This means that they can more easily set up a server and not have to take any other servers down. They are both also known to provide hosting for such things, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.
