How does one become an admin...what qualities do u guys typically look for? Seems like it has pros and cons: you can get rid of glitchers and troublemakers, but you have to deal with whiners and false complaints of abuse...

An invite is sent out from the support team and discussion with the would-be admin is made to determine if they want to become one.

It was me...I figured I am taking classes for a degree in Criminal Justice so I might as well practice eating donuts.

Rule 1 of Admin: You don't talk about Admin

Rule 2: Obey Rule 1

Rule 3: There is no rule 3.

Just follow the server rules, be honest, and report troublemakers if the admins don't see them.
If the admins find you to be a trustworthy player that follows the rules etc your name may be brought up for discussion

After a discussion a vote may follow after which if agreed on you will be asked if you wish to become an admin.
It has advantages and disadvantages, sure you can get rid of troublemakers yourself, but every time a flamewars starts you have to pause your game to pull those whining players away from each other.
