Hero assault question

Postby Corpse » Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:26 pm

Ok, so I've found that as I approached an enemy (or as they approached me) then if I turned sharply and clicked once with a normal attack that the enemy would fall down, with a similar effect to a backslash.

Would this also be defined as a "Null" or what....because from what I'd been told, a Null was where you actually moved your character, not just your direction.

Don't mean to sound like a noob  but can anyone explain if Nulls are the same thing or if they're completely different, since spamming push hasn't helped me learn these things

yes this is how most ppl use the null stroke, which is usually the first stroke of the combo. However, you can do this without the turn part, as long as you time it right. Nulling is one of the best ways to knock down an opponent in a no-force fight. :action-smiley-043:
Kryomancer: 53-7, Bait-Stelio-12 Stelio: 33-22, Bait-Kryo, 6
Next round:
Kryomancer: the fact remains, I pwn you :)
Stelio-Kontos: lets duel moron
==After 1 hour of duels, Kryomancer wins 42-8===
Stelio-Kontos: ok u are better

That's a null. Techniques vary - some people move, some people turn, some people (like me) don't follow any pattern, just swing and pray.

or you could cb and mash excessively and hope for best. I know people who do that, it seems to work.

Corpse: I'm sure NULL was explained quite a few times in those very forums. It's basically one-click-stun

Chin: the CB works even better if you do it camping high tower roof.

PS: why don't you just change the game ?

1.) If it was, I was too lazy to read fully, I apologise.

2.) sorry?

that was directed to Chin, his definitely useful addition to the topic made me think it will be better if he can pick up another game...

I appreciate your input Chin, but luckily I'm already above average when it comes to CB and melee spam xD
