Question...

What is SWGO's policy on challenging other clans/communities to a scrimmage/match/w/e? Can anyone challenge, or is it an 'admins only' sort of thing? Because I feel like there's a number of people that show interest when other clans first challenge us (like JoG), and I'd really be interested in helping to develop a more competitive side of SWGO if yall want to. Maybe a separate division of SWGO...

As far as i know scrimmage/matches have happened before in SWGO.
However, i don't recall SWGO challenging anyone, it's always been being challenged.

Keep in mind that the reason the previous topic was locked, wasn't because it was JOG challenging us, but using our forums for publicity for their own clan, which we don't allow.

I would definitely be interested in playing for SWGO, and I think it would be great to get more competitive

I've had a little experience helping with the management of competitions with GWL, so I'd be happy to help manage an internal SWGO competition. However, I won't get involved with other clans after how annoyed a certain two people were/are.

I might be down for an internal friendly competition.

I thought SWGO was above challenges. We aren't a clan, you know, and all that jazz.

Hey, clan battles can be pretty fun, y'know. :innocent: (We aren't a clan, but who cares? We don't suck that much  )

But an internal scrimmage could be pretty fun too, if we can get a decent number of people. It should have at least 8. We could play whatever game mode that appealed to us and make teams once everyone's in the server, and if Matt lets us an admin could configure the NYC server to host it.

Sure, I'll give it a go. Haven't had a 1v1 in a looooooong time. I hope you'll excuse my attempt to play no-force. :P

:gun_bandana: this was starting to get somewhat old but, I was thinking... even if we don't challenge other groups like JOG or such, we should at least try to make an event only for swgo members (just like tuggie's events). Maybe we could do something like this sometime in December? That way no one will have an excuse for not showing up (practically everyone is on vacation at that time of the year). :gun_bandana:
