JOG presents The Orion Games

Postby JOGJeff » Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:41 am

Hello again

I just wanted to make you all aware here at SWGO that JOG has begun "the Orion Games".

What this is, is our way of allowing members of the community to battle each other in 1 vs 1 combat ( full force/shooters) to help better themselves. The idea is to push players skills, and make them aware of new things that perhaps they didn't know. Not to mention the competitive battle that a 1 vs 1 can bring. Skilled, not skill, it doesn't matter we want everyone we can get so that the community can get better as a whole. Each month the orion games resets, so standings go back to the beginning.

See clanjog.com for details if you are interested.

Thank you for your time and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I mean it would be good fun and everything, but I looked at some of the rules/regulations to see what's allowed; and infinite choke? Mashing, Taunting and multiple pulling allowed? Seems a little cheap to have some things like that in there.

the idea behind some of that is to make players learn not to sweat the small stuff. . .to improve there cool so to speak when you have to deal with some one being stupid.

So does this mean you'll be training more people to slow run?

its no secret we embrace slow run as part of play, however the orion games isn't meant to train overall, as it is to show those who are playing better and better skills, that they can inspire to. There is always someone better. If someone wishes to learn certain things after such encounters, we always welcome questions. And will answer them as best we can. I recently did this with swgo sniper. We do want the community as a whole to get better at force. We think that there are alot of players that have desire to do so. So we will do everything we can to help spur that.

We know swgo rules for their public servers and would never want anyone from jog or who are involved in the orion games to break said rules for the record.
