Nice job hopefully you can figure out the game spy log in i'll post a link when I get home with some of my own source modifications that might help. The only issue is that you used code the is licensed under gpl v2 and you didn't provide source code with your project (all of open-spy is gpl v2 inherited from Luigi Auriemma) so you might want to re-implement his binary's\code to a different license, sorry i'm really big on licensing issues and protection of opensource code. Also are you working on a query relay system to synchronize the different servers ie. freegst and master sharing to help formulate a single master server list and not have people using 10 different game-spy alternatives?

haasd0gg I thought the years would make you more mature, but some things never change... I was just bringing out a fair issues that should be consider by any programmer when implementing code, force of habit when you work for a firm. No need to be a complete [Richard] about it.

I'm so glad swgo still has immature members like you haasd0gg. I brought up a valid point that needs to be considered, unless swgo is now complicit will illegal actions; In which case I'm glad I left all those years ago. Haas happens to be standing in as head honcho here with me as second in command... So I seriously urge you to get off your high horse, FreeFall... You have NO idea of the history of SWGO, nor the relationships we have with each other, or the past incidents we've dealt with here... Reporting a guy with the title "Overlord"... are you joking???

Hi! Thank you for your efforts to provide an alternative to the Gamespy shutdown! I have downloaded the .exe and I have Steam installed on my system. I successfully backed up the game files for BF2 and moved the FreeGST BF2 .exe to my desktop. When I execute I get the error "The program can't start because binkw32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Any idea how to find this dll file and when I do do I need to register it? Or is this another issue entirely? [I'm running Windows 7 btw :)]

Did you put the Free GST BF2 in your Star Wars Battlefront II/Game Data folder? It should replace the one in there, and then run that exe from that location (you can make a shortcut to the Free GST BF2 in the game data folder, and put that on your desktop).

That could be the culprit. I just dragged and dropped the .exe to my desktop. I'll try putting it in the Star Wars Battlefront II game data folder tonight when I get home.
