did the servers shut down or something?

i haven't played swbf2 in a few months and now when i press the "join" in multiplayer my game freezes. does this have something to to do with the shutdown i have been hearing about?

Occassionally you will find players on using Gamemaster download since Gamespy shutdown.

Remember to 'Search all Regions' when you load the game so you can see all the active servers.
