Black Ops 2 was my first and only CoD I ever played, so far. I never played any older CoDs. I know the number 1 ranked player in CoD blops 2 PC (=formlesstv).

I currently am thinking of playing black ops 2 and start playing "hawken" and "nuclear dawn".
Anyone know if those are good games?

Hawken is actually really fun for a FTP. Really worth the time and investment in skill. It's just a super fun game. They let you "Test Drive" mechs that are for sale in battles, with no limits on the number of times you can use them. It's also really well made and has a great engine.

I guess you missed my point, is this :

Ain't of Judgement wrote:These are the sacrifices I'll have to make if I try to go for it:
- a full year of my life (I currently am 19 years old)
- I'll have to adapt
- I'll have to change my daily schedule
- $$$ (I'll have to buy, and build, a new powerful computer and since I don't have enough money I'll need to get a job, I'll work part-time)
- ...

Worth this?

Not trying to knock your idea, if it is worth it then more power to you, just giving my opinion.

Your opinion and feedback is much appreciated!!! I wrote this before but I'll say it again. I changed my mind. I didn't just changed my mind because I think the game looks bad but also because it indeed isn't worth it. A year of my life is a lot. Let's not forget that my body will evolve into a wooden board. Sure the title is nice but in the long run everyone will forget it.

Save your money and play the campaigns on the first 3 CODs. They were really good, engaging, fun, games

Sadly, those call of dutys cost 20 euros each on steam... which is overpriced in my opinion. Call of Duty 4: modern warfare looks like a fun game but it costs 25 euros. Anyone knows if it's still populated and if there are any hacked servers? (PC version)

Last CoD I played was World at War, they deteriorated after that for me. Battlefield all the way.

Tek9 stevie. For the guy who asked if anyone remembered the best cod player.

Listen, if you were professional level player. You would know. You might think you're good from the lobby but competitive play is completely different. Having spent a [m'kay] ton of time with various competitive games at your age roughly aND it was a waste of time.

I'll change my signature if that's what bothers you :)

I partially see it as a waste of time but on the other hand, it increased my awareness, reflex, etc. in real life.

Meh, I personally couldn't see professional gaming as a lifetime career, it seems too risky.
