SWBF2 on GameRanger - Connecting Problem

I really wish to play this awesome game again. I just looked it up on GameRanger and found a lot of servers. But as soon as I press "join" in any server, the game just loads for 14 seconds and then it says that it cant find the connection to the host. I already tried to shut down my Firewall, rebooted my computer and started GameRanger as admin, but it still doesn't work. Do you have a solution for me? Id be most grateful! :)
