Perma Banned?

I go on SWBF2 every once in a while to play some decent conquest, but every time I try to join JBA I get "Booted From The Session" Is this a boot bug that just happens to appear every time I try to join JBA or am I banned? If banned, for how long and please state the reason.

if you were banned it would say cd key not authorized or something like that i think its just a boot bug but that's just my opinion

This is a boot bug, not a ban. How many times has this happened? Are there others affected by it at the same time as you? And is it only on JBA or all SWGO servers or all servers in SWBF2? All the boot bugs I have run into have been server problems, but it's very possible that a glitch on the player's side could cause that too.

I've gotten this a couple times on JBA. It's a boot bug since you can see the gameplay screen. If you were banned, it wouldn't let you enter the server itself, you'd get a not authorized screen.

You are not banned, it must have been a boot bug.

Um boot bugs are not with the server, as far as I can tell, it is the computer you are using. I have had troubles within the last 3 months of boot bugs constantly blocking me from entering. Recently I cleaned my computer of a lot of spyware and crap my daughter and wife seemed to have picked up from face book. Since then, I have had minimal boot bug experiences. It might be time for you to clean your computer out of unwanted files, especially start up files that you do not need. No expert, just an observation.

the nature of boot bugs is a secret.
it may come from the server, or your PC, or the gamespy interface... no1 rly knows.

Things you can try when you got boot bug (in hierarchical order) - restart your game, restart your PC, call admin to restart the server, go play other game.

I'll add another one to try - have an admin kick you from the server (because you do show up on the player list). I'm not sure what it does, but some people have reported that it fixed their issues.
