Hello everyone, it's Ludwig (formally GotComposer on these forums, but have since changed my username to reflect my online gaming name) :D

I have been a Star Wars fan for about 10 years now (I was introduced to star wars around the age of 11ish) and have grown to seek my inner Jedi. I use to play SWG (stopped after SoE ruined it with the combat upgrade) and now am a diehard SWToR fan (I know some people have their strong opinions on this game....I really enjoy the Story and my guild. I'm a really hardcore RPer). As I just said, I am a huge RPer (Roleplayer). I enjoy have my own Star Wars saga and intertwining all of my characters (specifically on ToR) in each others story. I am known as one of the best healers (Commando) on our server (Sanctum of the Exalted)

In real life, I am a web-designer-gone-musician-gone-photographer-gone-back-to-music (lol). I am studying Composition and Music Education. As for web design, I have designed a number of sites for my SWTOR guild (http://thearmyoflightswtor.com/, http://www.thealforums.com/, and the dead (being replaced with our forums) http://alnews.co.cc/) as well as our SWTOR server website (http://www.sanctumoftheexalted.com/, oh anc check out the new wiki that I had to style...lol http://www.sanctumoftheexalted.com/wiki/ (this is brand new and does not have much content yet)). I have proficient knowledge in CSS, HTML and PHP. I am proficient in Adobe PS, DW, and Flash CS5.5.

Oh, If anyone can direct me to a thread or a url, I would be very appreciative. I can't find any information regarding my queries:

1.) When I reinstalled bf2 to my PC (Win7 64bit SP2), I kept crashing to my desktop when I tried to join a game. Disabling my audio card fixed it. Is there any known fix (perhaps an unofficial patch?) for this problem? I would really like to play with sound.

2.) Is it possible to run the game in windowed mode? I don't really like playing anything in fullscreen mode. (Just a preference question. Does not really effect gameplay).

Can't help you with the audio bug, though I have heard of it before. For windowed mode you need to run a command on startup, as given HERE (scroll to "Command Line Switches"). You want "/win", though I'd recommend also "/resolution" to set the size and "/nointro" to save some valuable time.
