I will support that sentiment as well. I've had in-laws die from their habits. I pray for a speedy (and hopefully) eye-opening recovery.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Be strong for yourself (this is not selfish), and hopefully you can be there for your dad one day when he is ready.

my prayers, dutch...that's a difficult one to deal with...just be sure he knows you love him...he'll draw strength from that...take it from a dad...
