Greetings From JOG to SWGO

Hello, my name is JOGJeff, some of you may have recently seen me playing in your servers. I am a long time ps2 player and have recently come to the pc version of the game. So far I really have enjoyed myself here as it offers new challenges on a game that I enjoy. Anyways, I am co founder of jog and one of its elders. From my understanding when JOG first came to the PC version of this game, JOG and the SWGO community didn't get a long too well. I just hope this is in our past.

So far in my time here in the game I realize its ran a bit different from where I come from. I realize there are not many force clans. I do see a decent community for it however. We over at JOG continue to improve our no force game to make an honest attempt to be on equal footing with those types of clans. It adds a different element to the game, which is fun. Anyways I have noticed that SWGO seems more inclined to do and enjoy force in game play.

I would like to set up some battles with you guys, big and small, being that what I am seeing is that we have the two main clans that do this sort of thing. I do not know exactly where to put this challenge being that you guys don't have a challenge board.

I hope we can work something out as I think the competition between us could be rather fun, challenging and good for the community as a whole.

Thank you for your time.
If you guys ever want to get to know us better, our site is nationofjog.forumotion.com
Thank you

JOGJeff

Welcome Jeff!!

regarding the challenge, you really have to wait until one of the admins decides it's ok. If you ask me, the challenge doesn't sound like a bad idea. I've played a few times at JOG Jedi Temple and I have to admit you guys play very well which moved me to stop pulling and find new tactics!! You can ask MD and he'll confirm I have mostly stopped using Ayla lol

I don't mind pulling. I am old school player and from where I come from, all forms of force are considered ok. Being that the creators of the game gave the characters those powers. However not everyone agrees with that position lol
thank you for the compliment.

who are the admins?
I am learning as I go here. I don't know everyone yet in this community.

Hey Jeff, I'm only a forum admin these days, and I'm sure some of our other admin could clarify better, but its my understanding that the problem between SWGO and JOG boiled down to your guys disrespecting our server rules. We aren't really a bunch of hard asses around here.
As far as challenges go, I wish you luck in seeing something organized take place. My advice is to make a new topic here offering the challenge and stipulate that everyone use xfire or team speak (or whatever y'all use these days). See what the response is- I think events like that can be a lot of fun.
Welcome to our community. Please familiarize yourself with the server rules here, as I know we run things a bit different than PS2.

the admins are all those who have a different color for their name...

< dark red: Matt Chicago (doesn't play anymore though)
< green and lipstick red: all the other admins. Some famous ones in Hero Assault include: Mathews Dad and Imaim. Kren and Dad sometimes show up.
< blue: commoners like me :whistling:

well I hope we got those rules down now. There are a bit of differences between ps2 and pc. Its interesting to see how the games progressed on two different consoles.

I have seen Matthews Dad and Imaim play. So I know who they are now.

Good to see you are a father 'Son' . I am too. Makes me feel like I am not too old myself with me having a daughter too! lol

haasd0gg, where do I place that challenge? Which forums board?

thank you for the welcome guys
