Hey - After all these years away from SWBF2

I am new to PC SWBF2 - I used to game on the xbox/live, but haven't played SWBf2 for years - although it was bar far the game i played the most. Just got it on PC and it is still brilliant.
Having a few teething problems, for example,the best way to use Mace Windu - it's all about spacing and timing if I remember correctly. Anyway, I'd hate to get banned, but I am trying not to push/pull teammates or kill steal etc. Is there a thread that points out the do's and don't? On the hero's server last night is think I saw that choke/lightning is banned for example.
