I had a chat with her on facespace. She is trying out rosetta stone spanish and getting back to me as to how it works.

Best of luck to your daughter for her graduation. How are you travelling around? A bunch of my friends went interrailing in the past couple of years and they've got nothing but good things to say about it. Seems like a great way of seeing a lot. http://www.interrail.eu/. I hear that areas in Europe normally used as ski resorts in Winter are a lot quieter and beautiful in Summer, if you're still looking for places to go through.

Rosetta Stone wasn't all that great for Spanish. It didn't teach any grammar or syntax.
