Something Awful is adopting a school in Haiti, and I figured i'd post something here because it's adorable as all hell and as soon as I get my financial situation straight these kids are getting a hundred bucks so goddamn quick. I'll post this specific bit from the thread so that you all can go ahead and think about this, and feel guilty as all hell if you don't do it you [m'kay] monsters.


What will my donation accomplish and what are their long term goals?

$5 will buy enough food for a child to eat breakfast for an entire week.
$30 will buy food and books for a child for a month
$200 is a teachers monthly salary
$360 will support one child for the entire year
