star wars battelfront two won't start?

hi, I run swbf2 on safe mode, and sometimes when I run, idk aim and mozzilla and the start up battlefront 2, it doesn't start up, and instead takes up 3/4 of the screen in darkness. I will take a screen of this and post it here, I don't know if anyonre else has experienced this before or knows a solution to it but please help as I cannot play swbf2 without restaring the computer.

What's your operating system and computer specs?
