Game keeps crashing when I tab out to RM

Whenever I tab out of the game to get to RM, I do whatever I need to do on it and then I try to go back ingame. But when I click on the icon, nothing happens. I have to end the game by ctrl+alt+del and restart. Does anyone know how to stop this?

I've had the same problem before, sometimes you just need to be patient.

It happens to me, but only after alt-tab'ing about 5 or 6 times. I supposed it 'could' be processor or ram overload. Maybe refresh the ram by ensuring you restart the computer before playing. And download Gamebooster. Helps shut down additional crap in the background you don't need while playing .

Try running SWBF2 in windowed mode.

If you also add -nointro after the -win, it removes the cut scenes (the annoying long load when you start up bf2).
