SWBF2 Map Making Help

Postby (SWGO)RC-1140_Fixer » Sat Aug 20, 2011 8:37 pm

Ok So I am trying to make my own maps for SWBF2 I made the map in Zero editor then I went to munge it. After that was done I tried to run my map but SWBF2 said something like "missing mission.lvl file". When I looked in my SWBF2 map addon folder I found my map but there was no files in it even though the munger said it put them there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What OS are you using?
Does it munge really quickly? If so, there's a fix. Here: http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 73#p295373

Also, I highly reccomend you check out http://www.gametoast.com, as it is a site of BF2 modders.
BUT, before you post a topic in the "Bf2 modding section"
Read this topic first, http://gametoast.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... 06&start=0
as it contains how-to-do pretty much everything with Bf2 modding.

EDIT:
Also, do you have a lot of mods installed? If so, remove some.
Also, check here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\Addon

Thanks I went there a little earlier and downloaded a fix for the munger and made my first map (quite bad by the way lol). I noticed that some of the building I placed you could actually walk through one way.

Yes, some assets have that problem, bad collision I believe. To fix it I think you'd need a model editor, but I don't know much about models or how they work. ._.
