HELP...win7 64bit...

Postby Bocca » Mon Jan 31, 2011 5:22 am

Do i do the "official 1.1" patch then extract the "swbf2 v1/.patch.exe" to <game dir>\addon\AAA-v1.3patch"...then hit the "menu.bat" to get things rolling as before in 32-bit...64-bit win7 seems to be choking on the old files i have...tso i'm thinking there is a 64-bit solution/work-around....hanks for any help on this....
Did anyone see which way that guy went?

Normally whith Windows7 the 1.1 patch is an EXE.

So you just run it from anywhere and it will find SWBF2 just click update and thats it.

please note that you will need to download the patch again but for thr 64bit sistem.

I'll second that. Same basic procedure, but there's a 64-bit version. I always Google search and pray before hand.

What's that 1.3 crap in there?
Politeness is a discipline that compels respectful behavior. Morality is like a politeness of the soul, an etiquette of the inner life, a code of duties, a ceremonial of the essential.

Maby a mod?

Most mods like dark force rising 2 need the 1.3 patch and it autoinstalls it.

My advice in this case.

Reinstall SWBF2 and download the 1.1 patch from this official link.

Didn't catch that 1.3 when I read the post. I just know of the 1.1 Version to see all the Servers.
