Hi guys,
I recently had to get my computer wiped b/c angry viruses are angry. When I tried reloading SWBF2 i found that I had lost one of my disks. So i torrented the game and used my old CD key. The only problem is that it's not playing full screen now. Now there's an inch and half of black on each side of my already-small laptop screen and the game screen is distorted (too narrow for the height). Does anyone have any idea what's going on with that? Help is greatly appreciated.

Aspect ratio maybe? Double check all your settings and update ALL your drivers- especially video of course.

Sometimes you can add tags to a shortcut and change the window size. I'll check on this.
EDIT: What OS do you have?

Get the latest video drivers then fiddle with the screen resolution inside the game. It should match what you have your desktop resolution set to.

2 Options I Suggest:
Go to the ATI Catalyst Control Center (by right clicking on the desktop and choosing to go to the ATI Control Center), On the top left there will be a drop down menu, click on it and choose "Desktop & Displays" On the bottom half of the screen right click on the icon of your display, and choose "Configure," On the next screen choose "Scaling Options" tab you can then slide the thing all the way to 0% scaling and you should see the screen change to cover the full monitor. Then check Star Wars Battlefront and see if it worked.
If Not:
Open Nvidia Control Panel, click on Display, change flat panel scaling > select use nvidia scaling .
Hope one of these works. :)
