Hi does anyone know how to lower the ping, I joined yesterday and now all of a sudden I cant play because of high ping

Very strange indeed. I would suggest rebooting your computer to clear the memory. See if that works.

No I didnt work, I just shut down restarted then I went to play in JBA and got kick within 2 min

Also btw it said that I was kicked for high ping, the first time it said it was booting me for high ping i saw as I left that it said I was banned for TK

I will probably have to wait for my brother to get of work he does Tech Support

This may be a silly question but do you run other programs or download something when gaming?
They can have an effect to the ping. If I play without Steam (offline mode) my ping tends to be 20 points lower than with Steam (which is ~150-160 ping).
I also use a program called gamebooster that temporarily shuts down background programs when gaming (gets me another 10-20 ping points lower). Maybe that can help you a bit, give it a try.

It can also be that the internet was under high use in your area or it's just being silly. A few days ago, my internet was messed up for an entire day that the game crashed whenever I tried to join multiplayer. It took 2-3 minutes to load a website (tried with different web browsers) but downloads were still great (Steam download maxed at 8 MB/s, avg +6 MB/s). Speed test also said I had A+ Regional & Global rating.
