X-Fire and Steam

Postby Hobo » Wed Nov 16, 2011 6:04 am

My x-Fire isn't picking star wars battlefront whenever I play SWBF with steam. Does anyone know how to get X-Fire to detect it? X-Fire occasionally says "detecting installed games", but never picks up any steam games. I also have my older SWBF 2(safe mode) installed on my pc, in case that helps.

You might have a non-Steam game in your Steam library that Xfire doesn't pick up.

That's why Steam is better than Xfire, you can add any game to your Steam library but you have to have a specific game for Xfire to detect it.

What do you mean by non steam game? I bought SWBF right off of Steam. Also, I like x-fire more because of the communication and yes, the little bloeroeorp sound it makes. :D

Try reinstalling Xfire. I had a problem like that, no in game and what not. After reinstalling, it worked.
