Ok I'm looking for a new laptop HDD and I want to know do they make them in 1TB capacity? I looked through NewEgg.com for one but could only find a 500GB HDD that is compatible. Here's the qualifications it must meet:
- 5400 rpm
-2.5"
-SATA (any)
-1TB
Any help would be appreciated.

I know 1TB 2.5" SATA drives are coming soon, but I don't think any are out yet.

Also, unless you're worried about a heat issue, I'd highly recommend getting a 7200 RPM drive.

Well its for my PS3 and the concensus is that you want to stick to 5400. There were also several warning about the use of 7200. I dont want to be playing Fallout 3 while I watch my PS3 melt to my table.

Ah didn't realize this was for a PS3. Why in the world would you need 1TB on there?

Well I have a lot of music, several seasons of TV shows, and many movies I'd like to have on my PS3 so I can watch them on my HDTV. That and Netflix is coming to PS3 next month. I need storage damn it!!

Ya I figured it was for a laptop.
I need to upgrade my PS3 drive too, because I like to have a LOT of demos to play. I use a couple media servers so I just stream to the PS3 instead of storing stuff on there. You could consider a USB hard drive too - but it's gotta be fat32.
