forum signatures not working

So maybe I'm retarded or my comp is a pos, but I couldnt change my forum signature on here today. I got the image size down to the regulation 600x200px but that didn't work. finally i tried with a 100x100 image just to test the system and i still got the error code which says something like "cannot verify image size". Anyone else having this issue? Help?

It might be the 'type' of image that it doesn't like. JPEG vs Bitmap, vs GIF, vs PNG etc. Try a different type. I know JPEG and Bitmaps work.

Are you uploading an image or using a link? Links can be troublesome.

I had been using jpgs and links. let me try again. I see where to upload an image for the avatar, but I don't see that option for the signature.

This is an issue with the php settings of this website server. Not entirely sure what configuration changes need to be done, but I know that the Servants of the Galaxy website has a good php programmer.

It's definitely broke now, but it was working before. I wonder if there was a size restriction placed on signatures. The only way to add a image to a signature is by link, and since it can't determine the size from the link it throws an error... That's my guess anyways.

I've been attempting to add a ping test to my sig, I did the other one a while ago, but now it doesn't work. =/
