What operating system?
What hardware/software?
What were you doing when it produced this error?

Once we have that information, we can begin to help you.

I'm using Win. XP home edition

What do you mean by Hardware/software? (I apologize, I'm not the best with comp specs.)

I was starting up a new copy of KotOR2 (cd-rom version).

As far as hardware, I was asking about graphics and such - make sure your system it powerful enough to run the game.

Did you try a fresh install of the game?

I had a scan on my computer done by the game and everything was passed as recommended except my graphics card, but the results told me it is possible to run it with medium resolutions.

Well, I' was running 2 legit Virus scanners at the moment of error, so I am almost positive its not a virus, but i have found information on this and most have said to fix my registry. If someone can help with registry, that would be great and i would be very greatful.

Thanks In advance,
Arcfire.

You'll want to be very careful with the registry. What you could do is download CCleaner, which can scan your system and fix some registry errors. I doubt it would help this problem thouh.

Returning to my previous question, did you try removing the game and then doing a clean install?
