New computer issues

Hola all. This is a problem that one of my guys is having, and I need help correcting it. He bought a new computer, installed BF2 and now he can't play Death Star and Coursant maps. I told him to lower graphics settings (I had issues with Mos Esley when I bought my new computer, lowered settings and now I can play it), if that didn't work.. try updating/reverting drivers. He said that nothing he's done worked. So... I would like to ask for help here in the forums. Perhaps someone had same problem(s), and how did they fix it. Thanks in advance.

This would happen to me with only one map. I don't remember which one it was, but I am pretty sure it was coruscant as well. I tried everything with graphics, but none worked. I simply reinstalled it and it stopped happening.

I would reinstall the game, I doubt it's got anything to do with drivers.

Yeah, reinstall. Sounds like something got glitched up. Because if most of the maps work, and not a couple, it would not be the drivers, it would most likely be the install.

...And if re-install doesn't work, maybe the disc is corrupt (hopefully not a torrent disc).

Try messing with/tuening off your sound config/mixer, i know that works for fps issues

Yes, recently, I reconfigured my primary audio drivers, for FL Studio, and SWBF2 would not play when FL was open. So I would recommend making sure that all is well with the audio drivers.
