Why do people get so pissed off when someone replies to an old topic? Really, if you think the topic is dead and someone has something they want to add...just ignore it.

no1 ever was angry when someone revived old topic to add some new info on it, but many ppl just do it to add completely useless posts.

If they post a relevant thing then you can just ignore it. Then when the person gets no replies then (s)he'll stop.

Just curious is all... I can't find the energy to get wound up about it when it happens, relevant or not. I have spent A LOT of time in my life getting worked up about things that really did not warrant it and now make a conscious effort to not do so. I am, however, a bit of an under-achiever...so maybe that is the reason I can easily ignore it.

Personally, I don't care if people necro old topics. As long as it reflects the main point that was intended, I see no reason to lock the topic after a necro.
