Players - official SWGO policy is that while fancy character names are allowed, if the name does not show up in our server management software we will ask you to change it. Failure to do so will result in being banned from the server.

Ok guys and gals, please read the above again and actually take it in. Fancy names are allowed. However, if it screws with the server functions, then it needs to be changed. If you have been playing and no one has talked to you about your "wings", commas. doohickeys, whatever, you are probably in the clear. We as admins will ask the player nicely first to change it. If there is a failure to comply, we may nicely ban you. This rule is to keep the server running smoothly and properly, nothing else. So lets cut the "well I have . . . " or "what if I . . ." questions to a minimum. It really serves no purpose.
