Models

Postby BurzaP » Fri Jul 02, 2010 12:37 pm

I've been wondering, does anyone of you make plastic models? Tanks, planes and so on? I've been doing them for 8 years so almost half of my age. Usually, I glue tanks in scale 1:35. There are my best models:

Those are really good! I've tried to make models but I'm not committed enough.

Do you buy sets you put together or are these from scratch?

I'm not sure what you mean but I can tell you how I do it: I buy a box (usually it's DRAGON for tanks-firm) and there are hunderds of small , uncoloured parts in frames which(parts) I have to cut, paint and glue together.... I can spend even 12 hours per day doing it. Fortunately, lately I bought an airbrush so it goes faster but I have to spend my time on cleaning it and so on. Shame is, I've just broken an atomising nozzle and I'm going to order it but it costs about 1/4 of price of airbrush. The model I'm making now it's a King TIger. When I finish I will place there some pics.

Indeed they have. I'll place it and I'm gonna take some more but first I have a request to someone who is leading this forum.

Is there a possibility to allow to place more attachments in one post than just 3.....? Please enlare this number to at least 6/7 because I don't see a point to post 3 posts in a row just to give some pictures.[I'll take some photos and show you more]

Very nice work Burza! I used to build alot in my younger days, but the model never lasted long, because I tended to 'blow up' whatever I built eventually (the 'sting' of battle!). Maybe that's why I like BF 2 so much.

Great models. I remember making basic planes when I was about 11....but I never got into modeling much.

I used to build models as well.

Once I got older (15 or so), I got my first high velocity pellet gun and well, I'm sure you can guess what happened next......
