Quick Question

Does anyone know how to restore contacts from a higher firmware ipod/iphone backup on Itunes to a lower firmware ipod/iphone without updating firmware? I you do please tell me! I'm trying to since I had to downgrade to jailbreak my iphone.

1.) place iphone on a hard surface like the street
2.) smash with heavy object
3.) repeat
4.) check your contacts. If they arent there repeat step 2

I know little about iPhones, but if it won't let you upload them then you will probably have to enter them manually (though not QUITE as manually as Haas suggests...).
