I used to screw up my models, paint them as I wanted to, not as it was in real. So I had F-15 painted in Plus GSM colours or unusual combination of 20 colours.... but it was when I was younger. Now I try to do them exactly to the realy copy, sometimes giving details like backpacks on tank top planking, "dirty" them so that they look like have jjust come back from a battle. I make models in this way:
-reading instruction and making notes in what colou paint what and in which order [2h]
-gluing parts which will be painted on the same colour[3h]
-painting these ones[when i was using normal brush it could take over 24h, now I use airbrush so it's 4h]
-painting other elements(small details and so on, using brush)[2h]
-gluing everything into one part[2-3h]
-painting any imperfections like remaining parts after cutting them from frames [2h]
-puting decalcomania[30min]
And the model is done but usually it takes longer than just 20hours. I like this hobby because it's training my patience.
Anyway, there are only a few models which deserve to be show them (maybe 5 out of 40). I'll edit this post today and give you somethign more. There are pics of the tanks I had showed u before, but other captures.
