Am I the only person who enjoys using droideka?

They were terrible in Battlefront 1 multi-player. They couldn't stand against the jet troopers. As in SWBF2, it requires tactical positioning to do anything more than spam shots and say, "Hey look, I got killz!!one11eleven" I've seen some groups use it very efficiently when defending on 1-flag maps.

Personally don't really like them. I find them too vulnerable to mines

I'm a big user of the Manga Guards. Just about my favorite character to play. The Droidekas i pretty much only use on Geo to get across the map asap when things look bad for my side. My skill with them is craptacular at best. i will use them occasionally for fun when I'm having a terrible run and I just try to mow players over and knock em on their backs. Causes many "holy crap" moments when you get hit by one rolling at you at top speed.

Yeah I agree with Buck. I only use them on big maps like Geonosis where you can get from one cp to the next really fast. Otherwise I only use them to slow down the enemy advance or block up someplace. Cause with their shield they take quite a bit longer to kill than others.

Utapau CTF, I've seen Droideka change a match. The distances involved are fine enough for the droideka, but it's hard to pick him off at that distance while trying to fight three others. Very annoying.

drodieka's are much better with tk on, that way when people get behind you they cant shoot rockets at point blank or det/mine rush you
