Getting the tetanus booster was a challenge. Went to a drop in medical cente who indicated they don't provide tetanus boosters. Went to the hospital, checked in finally after they updated all of my records, sat down in the waiting room. I was there about 30 minutes and this woman who had a sprain indicated she had been there for over four hours and she was still waiting to see someone. Considering she had been there that length of time and there were 30 people after her and before me I decided to leave and get an appointment the next morning with my doctor rather be there until at least 2am. Went to the medical centre for 8am which according to my wife was when it opened, turned out to be 8.30 so I went up to the counter at 8.30 and asked to see a doctor/nurse only to be told I was not on that panel. My wife indicated she had swapped panels when we moved but alas that was not the case. By luck the other doctors surgery was in the same building, so I asked to see someone and was told the nurse is busy come back at 9.45am to see the doctor which I did, saw the doctor at 10.20 who then informed me he had no jabs with him so he said I had to come back at 5pm. Off I went to work. So after a lot of messing about I finally received the jab at 5.15pm that night. Thank the lord I don't attend the hospital or doctors or a regular basis as it would drive me to dispair because of the messing around!
Sounds like a taste of the 'Universal Health Care' we Americans get to look forward to after Obama gets done dicking up the good one we already have!
