Getting the tetanus booster was a challenge. Went to a drop in medical cente who indicated they don't provide tetanus boosters. Went to the hospital, checked in finally after they updated all of my records, sat down in the waiting room. I was there about 30 minutes and this woman who had a sprain indicated she had been there for over four hours and she was still waiting to see someone. Considering she had been there that length of time and there were 30 people after her and before me I decided to leave and get an appointment the next morning with my doctor rather be there until at least 2am. Went to the medical centre for 8am which according to my wife was when it opened, turned out to be 8.30 so I went up to the counter at 8.30 and asked to see a doctor/nurse only to be told I was not on that panel. My wife indicated she had swapped panels when we moved but alas that was not the case. By luck the other doctors surgery was in the same building, so I asked to see someone and was told the nurse is busy come back at 9.45am to see the doctor which I did, saw the doctor at 10.20 who then informed me he had no jabs with him so he said I had to come back at 5pm. Off I went to work. So after a lot of messing about I finally received the jab at 5.15pm that night. Thank the lord I don't attend the hospital or doctors or a regular basis as it would drive me to dispair because of the messing around!

Sounds like a taste of the 'Universal Health Care' we Americans get to look forward to after Obama gets done dicking up the good one we already have! :-|

Yep the plus side is it's kinda free obviously you get taxed elsewhere, the downside is messing around we sometimes have to put up with. It might be better for u guys in the US but then again it could be much much worse.

Right decided to increase my fitness and took up swimming again, first time I have done this for about 3 or more years. Been twice this week, first time was a little tiring as I had been to the gym the day before so the triceps were a little sore but the 2nd time was much better. 60 lengths front crawl, some sprints include in around 45 minutes so I'll build it up from there. Feel a whole lot different but the last time I got out the pool it looked like I had be under a sunbed....glowing! Anyway, gym tomorrow, help mi dad lay some flooring, couple of family programmes to watch, DVD (Iron Man2) for us all, bottle wine or 2 with the wife and hopefully a curry and perhaps a game of SWBF2 at some point on Saturday. Sunday swimming, a bit of DIY, snooker and then relaxing with the family and then work on Monday (boo).

I'm sure I can guess but for the record what does that mean?

A curry means food...lol so to expand on it we will most likely be having a chicken jalfrezi, rice, popadoms, naan bread and a bottle of red wine and perhaps a some ciders. Not sure whats for after's mind you.

Are you one of those....people...that go for the hottest curry they can find just to prove that you're really hard by eating it?

Lol no I prefer to taste my food, enjoy the spices and flavours, I don't need to prove anything, I'm not one of 'those' people Corpse. Saying that I can eat hot food, if I have a cold etc there's nothing better than something really hot to help shift it. Anway time to hit the gym.
