The only push recovery I've seen is how bots can automatically do it and if you get pushed into a wall then you can get back up 80% of the time. Here's how you can get past a bot's force recovery.

You take high ground and push the bot from above. It's that simple.
It doesn't matter how far a puller can launch or how good he is at at the game. He's still a n00b.

I joined the forum just to reply to this topic.

Push is very non-buggy.

The bots do it because bots can do whatever they want.

If there is a quicker recovery it is because you were pushing someone off a roof, or you were below them, or it was a wall bounce.

The best way to get a stun with push is be above your enemy, and not to push them into a wall.

Yeah ok, I admit it. I hack every aspect of this game, and can CB while I'm Jango.

After trying to use the recovery glitch mentioned after 10 or so hours of game time, I have to say it works but with a minimal amount of chance to successfully use it. I also noticed that there is a very narrow time frame where it seems to function while being attacked (one notices that you cannot move your view for a few seconds, but before you receive the final blow you can change your view).
Today I was able to pull it off 5 times with great success, attacker was dead and I survived (with twice as many recoveries but failed to hit the assailant). The chance of success was about 1-5% but I think if one can figure out the timing, I'm confident the chances of success will rise from a range of 10-20%.
I also notice that some players were able to use block in the middle of an assault, I think the same trick is applied.

This may be by random chance or lag but... I was playing as maul, was double pulled (the usual procedure), then when I landed (a normal air smash was not possible) used the 'spin backslash' and was able to knockdown the Aayla using this technique. I received only 1/3 of the damage. Further testing should be done to confirm it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

There is also a way to jump back from pull at close quarter, then block almost at the same time and dash forward but again that's all in the timing plus if it's lagging it negates this ability so it's not easy for me to employ this technique given my connection speed.
Look at the past to improve the future.
