Yavin is an interesting map because of how half of the map is an uphill battle for the imps. It gets ruined though by the tanks and those two CPs on opposite ends of the map that are REALLY bad places to get stuck in. If it wasn't for that I'd vote for it, because it really has nice terrain variation and different types of CPs to capture.
Endor IMO has the problem with that "one player who's too smart for the rest of the team and captures the back CP". You know who they are, they're the only ones in the server who "know" better about the game and will take a speeder bike and cap the back cp of the opposing team. Yes, it's what you're supposed to do, but it makes the map a chore to play because you always have to keep defending that back cp, which gets irritating when you're trying to push your team forward from the front. Mos Eisley has a similar problem with the top CPs. Polis Massa too.
That's probably why people dislike those maps. Some dislike them because of the lag it causes for their computers, but it's 2011; if your computer still gets choppy framerates from Yavin, Felucia, and Kashyyk, I think you seriously need to upgrade your computer.
However, of the two, I voted for Endor because I like that map a little bit more. The Rebels blend in really well over there and there's tons of foliage and stuff to hide behind. Imps can fly around with their DTs, but they lose that advantage in this map because Rebels can blend in and ambush them from the scenery.
